Scout is
me. I am an independent lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)
health consultant in my pro life. On the amateur side, I'm a husband to
one and a father to three. This whole clan lives in Lincoln, Rhode Island,
an old mill town where we can walk to lots, and where Beth down at the grocery
store was one of the first to ask if I'd defended my dissertation. We've
got a garden in our backyard that gets bigger every year, three pet chickens,
and we're really grooving on the balance of small town life with easy access to
cities. In my years here, I've discovered a love for the tried and true
New England hobby of trashpicking. What? Trash? OK, think of
it as recycling. Or gleaning if you're in France. For me it's free
stuff every morning, and it's the place where I found the wedding ring I gave to
Susanna.
Yes, I did say three kids. I got three little
mugwumpers that wear me ragged and make me happy. Catch all of five of us
some early morning as we hop on our bikes and head out to the local
towpath. And - tandems rule!
